    Description:  In order to maintain course catalog accuracy, better manage course changes and to assure that appropriate approvals are secured, a new course approval process has been designed and integrated within PeopleSoft’s Campus Solutions at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. After carefully evaluating all of the possible options, UNC Chapel Hill decided in favor of building a new Course Request Approval bolt-on application within PeopleSoft. The development of this bolt-on within PeopleSoft proved to be the most effective way to fulfill UNC’s business requirements and has provided a viable replacement to the existing course request approval system. This session will focus on the decision making process and desired business functionality that resulted in this customized and integrated solution within PeopleSoft Campus Solutions. This session is aimed at curriculum specialists and all functional users that participate in the administration of their Institution's course inventory.
