The University of Baltimore, like many institutions, strives to increase the quality of services offered while minimizing the cost. One important part of quality assurance is load testing, but performing load testing at low cost usually leads to a room full of people hitting "submit" at the same time. This session discusses how we researched and implemented a real load testing solution using only free tools and how we are integrating it into our testing and acceptance strategies for PeopleSoft.

Our objectives with this presentation are:
1) To share what tools we evaluated, and the strengths and weaknesses of each
2) To walk through building a real load test with the tools we selected
3) To cover how we are expanding this tool to cover multiple installations, test production vs development, and to do automated data and functionality testing as well.
