The Collaborative Workspace tool creates a discreet area where authorized users can work jointly on a defined effort, such as a customization, implementation, initiative, or business process. Using a mix of delivered functionality - Document Upload, Discussions, Wikis, Blogs, Calendar, Action Items - and integration with ERP data, the Collaborative Workspace serves as a common point from which team members can pursue the success of the effort.

This overview describes how the delivered Collaborative Workspace tool can be deployed in a very rapid manner. The presenter will provide real world examples of how Collaborative Workspaces can be used. Included are steps to configure and maintain Collaborative Workspaces, initial implementation steps, and ongoing use considerations. Only the minimum steps for Collaborative Workspace need to be taken to roll out this powerful tool. Once a knowledge base is established, administrators and users can explore advanced features and experience the full value of the Collaborative Workspace.
