Northwestern University in Illinois and the Lone Star College System in Texas have each implemented the Expenses Module. Get a view of Expenses from both 8.9 and 9.0 perspectives. We’ll compare and contrast our implementation planning approaches, our implementation successes, and our post-implementation experiences as well as our lessons learned. Northwestern University is a research institution with nearly equal numbers of undergraduate and graduate students on two campuses. It implemented PeopleSoft 8.9 as part of a wide-ranging project that included Grants- and Facilities Management systems. Its Expenses module has the most users of any of the sub-systems and includes direct deposit for its reimbursees. The Lone Star College System serves more than 45,000 community college students on five campuses and on-line. It has freshly implemented PeopleSoft 9.0 (January, 2010) and includes pcard/Purchasing integration with Expenses.
