The application itself was written to schedule appointments online, send reminder e-mails, allow for kiosk-based self-identification for check-in and walk-in appointments and extensive reporting; these capabilties all existed in one form or another, but often required the purchase of third-party software. This has been integrated with CRM's online marketing and EIP data pulled from our Campus Solutions environment to provide a reliable, customizable and shared application and knowledge base for students and advisors alike.
