A common issue in academic advising is the inability to track the student's progress from office to office and to effectively communicate summaries of meetings. The application itself was written to schedule appointments online, send reminder e-mails, allow for kiosk-based self-identification for check-in and walk-in appointments and extensive reporting; these capabilties all existed in one form or another, but often required the purchase of third-party software. This has been integrated with CRM's online marketing and EIP data pulled from our Campus Solutions environment to provide a reliable, customizable and shared application and knowledge base for students and advisors alike.
