As part of this project, OHSU: • Implemented an automatic Requisition Price Update functionality that automatically updates requisitions with the contracted price if it is lower, • Refined the catalog management system and mass loading of contracted price catalogs in the Oracle database, • Implemented Oracle iSupplier, • Implemented a blanket price synch process to automatically correct pricing to contracted price, • Added refinements to our PO Autocreate process to create more purchase orders without buyer intervention, and • Refined and expanded our procurement category definitions. Results: • Over $2.3 million in savings through the requisition price update functionality. • Increased automated POs by 15%. • Through registered iSupplier vendors, reduced price holds due to iSupplier Invoice Inquiry.
