The institutional aid changes dynamically based on the grant awards and how much of the tuition is covered by the grants. This is done in one Mass Packaging instance without the need of any custom tables or hard coding the grant amounts. We’ve also made many changes to our manual communication and checklist processing. We are able to assign communications and checklists automatically using the 3C Engine. For example, in our TEACH processing we use comment codes that determine eligibility to select the students that receive a checklist and communication. In our loan processing we are able to set a nightly process that selects students who have not completed their New Borrower items and assign them a checklist and communication. Once the student completes their New Borrower items we then automatically complete their checklist. For our ACG rigorous high school eligibility process we use the Admissions data to determine the student’s eligibility and if the student is eligible we update the rigorous codes on the ACG eligibility page. For the ACG 2 the codes are copied from the ACG 1. And in QAP we’ve set it to do our database match, restriction, and application cancellation processing. We are able to assign User Edit messages, and update the packaging status, and assign a communication.
