Tour #1: Jack Daniels Distillery             8:30 am-4:00 pm             Cost: $95, inclusive

Nestled between a rolling hill and the Mulberry Creek and just 70 miles south of Nashville, Lynchburg is home to the Jack Daniel’s Distillery that tells the story of the people, place and process that give Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey its character since 1866. Your distillery guide will tour you throughout the grounds including the barrel house and bottling buildings.

Lunch is served at Miss Mary Bobo’s Boarding House, known for their family style service, great southern cooking and having one dish on the menu with a little of the home town product added in for flavor. There will be time to stop on the town square for a little shopping, but don’t expect to buy any Jack Daniel’s whiskey while in town. Did we mention that Lynchburg is dry?

Tour #2: Many Faces of Nashville             1:00 pm-5:00 pm             Cost:$83, inclusive

It has been said that music is the only barometer of the human soul. If that is true, then Music City will help you discover your soul. For more than 200 years, music has left an indelible imprint on this town…and in return, Nashville has left its own unique mark on music heard around the globe.
We begin with a driving tour of Music Row, the main artery to the heart of Nashville, home to recording studios and music publishing offices.

Afterwards, it’s on through Nashville’s historic downtown as we drive by Fort Nashborough, a painstaking re-creation of the fort built in 1779 to protect and shelter early settlers, which now serves as a monument to those courageous city founders.

Our tour concludes at the Country Music Hall of Fame, the world’s largest research center dedicated to a single form of American music. The Hall of Fame provides guests with an in-depth look at the people, places and instruments that have contributed to the development of country music.

Tour #3: Antebellum Dreams                1:00 pm-5:00 pm               Cost: $71, inclusive

Visit the fully restored manor house and out buildings representing 100 years of Tennessee history and architecture, known as the “Queen of the Tennessee Plantations.”–Belle Meade. The Greek Revival mansion was completed in 1853 with the addition of the veranda and the signature limestone columns, quarried from the property. The grounds also include a large carriage house, stable, log cabin, and several other original buildings. You’ve heard of Seabiscuit, Secretariat, War Admiral and Smarty Jones. Our final stop includes a tour of Belmont Mansion, a villa, built in 1850. Belmont was the summer home of Adelicia Acklen, an extraordinary woman who married a then unheard-of three times. Adelicia was reputed to be the wealthiest woman in the United States in the mid-nineteenth century. Belmont was built as her summer home in 1850. An ornate Italianate design, the home features many of the original furnishings. Adelicia was an extraordinary woman whose lavish taste is evident in the mansion, which boasts the most elaborate domestic room built in antebellum Tennessee. Marble fountains, cast-iron gazebos, and statuary still stand as evidence of ornate, formal gardens.
