Alliance 2009 will mark the start of a new tradition! This year we will have our first annual 5K Run and 1.5 Mile walk for those arriving early for the conference. All net proceeds from the Run/Walk will be donated to Nothing but Nets, a charity very close to Keynote Speaker Rick Reilly.

Participants can sign in and pick up their runner kit at the Help desk next to Registration in the Anaheim Convention Center during registration hours (3:00-7:00pm) on Saturday, March 21, or before the race in the parking lot next to the Marriott Hotel on race day, March 22, 2009, between 6:15am-6:45am. All runners will line up at the starting line at the Marriott Hotel next to the Anaheim Convention Center for a prompt start at 7:00am on Sunday March 22nd. All participants will receive a commemorative high quality technical t-shirt as well as the bragging rights that go with being part of the inaugural event. Waiting for you at the finish line will be an assortment of fruit, bagels, muffins, juice, water, coffee, and tea. The race begins sharply at 7:00am so be sure to arrive early to allow plenty of time for checking in, warming up, meeting colleagues, etc. There will be awards for the top 3 male and female finishers in the run and the walk. Thank you for your interest in participating in the 1st annual IO Consulting/ALLIANCE Fun Run. As this is our inaugural race we decided to have a cap of 150 participants and the race is now Sold Out. Given the significant interest shown for the Fun Run we will be increasing the race size next year but as with all special events at ALLIANCE we encourage our attendees to sign up early to avoid disappointment.
