The future for Campus Solutions!

"The PAG/TAG organisational model has served the HEUG well for many years.  We need to review the model with an eye towards the future, to ensure we can sustain our dual mission of providing advocacy and educational services to our membership.”
Jane Broad, past HEUG President and past Vice President of Product.

Four months into the restructure of our Campus Solution Advisory Groups and we have not yet had the opportunity to adjust to the resizing and begin significant levels of operational planning for building up our strategic advocacy role and continued education for our members.  Each of the newly formed teams are conducting time limited conference calls with Board Liaisons and developing an operational plan for the upcoming year.  These meetings provide a gradual adjustment for our Advisory Groups members with a new way of working together and providing efficiencies to our members.

In this new structure their education role for members is key.  As a team they continue to work with Oracle to disseminate updates regarding PUM and upgrade releases, and advocate on behalf of the members.  However, these teams more importantly facilitate the sharing of best practices through listservs, blogs, educational webinars, virtual Birds of a Feather and Community Coffee Breaks.

The new Advisory Group structure for Campus Solutions is a project-oriented focus group of cross functional, cross module, system-wide group of subject matter experts working towards short term strategic initiatives, working groups, while maintaining support for each module.

In a term from the 2015 Advisory Group Summit, these are our new “Super-PAGs".
