In this talk, we focus on how CSUN IT built a chatbot from the ground up, with the mindset that it would have to work on desktop and mobile devices. The mobile-responsive interface, PeopleSoft integration, and data format flexibility were key in bringing this project to life. We will cover how we planned and developed a product that would let us grow and easily integrate the chatbot into any platform we come across. We will also talk about our decision to go with a serverless architecture, our successes and speed bumps, tools we created to work with the bot, and how we integrate new services and add new features.
