In an effort to comply with the federal guideline that "...you cannot award [a] student aid for classes that do not count toward his degree, certificate, or other recognized credential”, Azusa Pacific University (APU) created a query which compares a student's enrollment to his/her academic advising report. This presentation will attempt to explain the query logic involved in building such a report as well as give examples of how the results are being used to drive several processes.
