The repetitive process of Search/Matching tens of thousands of “suspended” inquiries, test scores, and applications can be changed to a process of data validation. The George Fox University Admissions department has built robust search match rules and various queries that are run to cross check that identified “updates” are truly updates after the Search/Match process is run. Non-matches can be accessed from drilling URLs in the query to update the status from “Update ID” to “Add New ID” for found matches that are not actual matches. Staff can then run Search/Match/Post with confidence. This process allows for automated matching and posting of inquiries, test scores, and applications and has saved the George Fox University admissions office hundreds of hours of manual Search/Matching for suspended files. This process uses delivered PeopleSoft functionality with no modifications.The contents of this session will include:1.
