This session is designed for PSQuery writers familiar with the basics of PeopleSoft query manager reporting, but looking to get more out of the tool.The University of Texas at San Antonio has used PSQuery as its main reporting platform for almost 5 years since PeopleSoft implementation. Come learn some techniques and tips. This session will cover windowed functions, partition functions, SQL insertion for group by CUBES and ROLLUPS, LISTAGG and other aggregates, Effective Dating considerations, easier ‘IN’ lists, flattening trees, handling and manipulating dates, other useful expressions, and more. The syntax will be based on Oracle servers and will use Human Resources and Financial Data, but the ideas are applicable to other setups.
