Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC) adopted an Agile project methodology to vastly improve the customer experience for its student portal. Learn how NWTC built a system to rapidly organize enhancement requests into a monthly release pipeline that allows for continuous stakeholder feedback – including student input!There are many agile software development methodologies, but none were a perfect fit for the culture at NWTC. The team experimented with some agile techniques, and after discovering there is a “wrong” way to do agile, settled into a process that worked for the institution. The NWTC team will outline the current process, share some of the lessons learned along the way, and demonstrate a few of the results achieved in the student portal system.
