The Moody Bible Institute has over 100 donor-funded scholarships and grants, and we have struggled for years to find an efficient way of collecting thank-you notes from the students to show donors their appreciation. Beginning with the 2015-2016 aid year, we have now automated the process – from requesting the notes all the way to emailing formatted letters to our Planned Giving office for printing and sending to the donors. This process has finally allowed us to make thank-you note submission a requirement for disbursement, which has of course increased the response rate exponentially.
