Fred Hutch Cancer Research Center, who has been live on PeopleSoft since 2003, started operating internationally in 2013. In order to turn on full multi-currency functionality for the entire financial system, Fred Hutch decided on a two-phase implementation plan. In 2013, multicurrency functionality was turned on in the GL only. In January 2017, Fred Hutch expanded multi-currency to ePro, PO, AP, AM, GM, PC, CA, BI, AR along with Payroll.

In this session you will learn how Fred Hutch along with their implementation partner, SpearMC, rolled out multicurrency functionality including VAT while meeting complex grant requirements like billing across projects in multiple business units and billing for awards in currencies other than their General Ledger base currency.
