WorkCenters are a fantastic way to drive work. They are even more fantastic when work assignments can be made automatically. Come and see how the University of Arizona has built out a WorkCenter to massively streamline the processes of distributing work to generalists and to specialists that deal with various populations.

Part of this build consists of a bolt-on process comprised of a configuration page that includes a PS Query to select the population to be worked, and options to prioritize the assignment of applications with specific characteristics. It also has a section to control the number applications of each type that will be assigned to each staff member.

If a staff member calls in sick, there is even a way to quickly redistribute that person's work to the remainder of the staff.

Finally we'll review the WorkCenter, its Pagelets and some features that make it the just about the only place many staff members need to go in Campus Solutions.
