Have you walked in your office after an upgrade and felt like it was Groundhog Day? The Peralta Community College District is transforming the Campus experience and ensuring the PeopleSoft 9.2 upgrade is not the same type of upgrade done in the past. As we focused on modernizing our enterprise systems, we are creating a journey and experience for students, faculty and staff that is intuitive and meets and exceeds our community’s needs. Knowing that cloud products are still many years away from being able to address our needs, we are taking the opportunity with our upgrade to reimagine our business processes and foster the “New Peralta Way”. Our goal is to increase user satisfaction around performance and the overall experience. This session will articulate how we approached our 9.2 upgrade project differently with Deloitte to bring a more modern approach.
