I have worked for the State of Tennessee for over 30years. I began my PeopleSoft career as the payroll module lead responsible for implementing payroll as part of Tennessee’s Human Capital Management implementation which included Enterprise Learning Management. I moved from the payroll lead to the testing manager helping to establish testing standards and implementing testing tools. For four years I served as the Assistant Director of the ERP division expanding my knowledge to include the Financial and Supply Change Management. I am now the fiscal director for the State of Tennessee’s Strategic Technology Solutions division and have become more of a PeopleSoft user than a support person. In this role, I have been able to share my knowledge of PeopleSoft and listen for ideas and ways to improve the PeopleSoft product.
In addition to the PeopleSoft HCM and FSCM applications, Tennessee also uses several other Oracle products such as Identity and Access Management, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), and Enterprise Portal for both employees and suppliers.
I am a graduate of Tennessee Technological University with a Bachelor of Science emphasizing Information Systems. I am a Certified Public Accountant; a graduate of Tennessee’s Government Leadership program and a member of Association of Governmental Accountants. I am a past President of the Public Sector User Group.
