I have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting Information Systems and a MBA in Technology Management. I have over 15 years of experience with Peoplesoft in a higher education environment. I also have experience with Oracle, SAP and Microsoft ERP systems.
I started my higher education experience with eight years at the University of Michigan in various accounting roles including contracts/grants, asset management, and general fund. I also spent two years at the University of Wisconsin – Stout as the Assistant controller.
I am currently a Sr. Business Analyst at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill, supporting the general ledger, accounts receivable and asset management modules. The University went live on Peoplesoft 9.1 in October 2014 and have just successfully completed our upgrade to 9.2 in December 2018. In my role I have helped the accounting department through the conversion of financial reports, creating new business process and queries and closing the fiscal year. I support enhancements and modifications in the modules including a subsystem reconciliation to identify in flight transactions in all subledgers, a custom journal entry tool, and a debt collection tool.
