Scott is currently the Controller for the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
He has nearly 29 years of experience at the State of Wisconsin. He has worked in the State Controller's Office, Division of Enterprise Technology, Executive Budget and Policy Manager (Information Technology, Operations and Federal Funds Team) in the State Budget Office, served as Secretary to the Wisconsin Joint Committee on Finance and was the Finance Lead for the Wisconsin STAR Program Office. STAR began implementation of the full suite of PS Finance and HCM in 2014 and began going live with state agencies in October, 2015. He was on the team for the implementation of the state's legacy accounting system in the early 1990's and was the Functional Project Manager for the IBIS project. He has been involved with the former and current ERP initiative since 2005 and is a familiar face to many in state government.
Outside of his busy work schedule he has been involved in various non-profit boards in the City of Madison, Wisconsin's seat of state government. Currently he is on the board of directors and serving as Treasurer for the Bayview Foundation, Inc., a public housing and cultural arts facility in the heart of Madison..
