My experience with Oracle E-Business Suite spans many years and across many functions. My educational background is in accounting, and I began my career on the functional side working in Cash Management and then Fixed Assets for a combined total of around 10 years. While in those roles, I was involved with general system use, departmental end-user training/troubleshooting, as well as testing of SRs and system patching. I was an integral part of our testing team when we upgraded to 12.1 initially, and through upgrade cycles within 12.1.
Because of my interest in learning about the Oracle application and how the underlying database and system worked, I joined our Financial Systems Team as a senior analyst and have worked on all of our modules. Part of my role is to oversee all of the requests for enhancements and fixes for the finance modules within EBS. This is an exciting role for me to act as a BA, hone my project management skills, and bring solutions to our users to enhance their business processes - or at least keep them running. I also am a lead for the finance staff on system related projects such as integrations into Oracle EBS, and new modules or updates.
