I have over 17 years in the education industry in both private and public institutions. For the past 10 years I've been working at the University of Newcastle, Australia. During this time I have undertaken several leadership roles involving a wide variety of functional areas including student support, student adminstration and enquiry management, student progression, academic advice and planning, and student systems. In recent times I have held the role of Senior Manager, Student Systems and Student Central IT Business Partner, where I was responsible for the administration, operation and enhancement of our Peoplesoft Campus Solutions system. My current role is Senior Manager, Campus Communities, where I am responsible for the strategic development, implementation and continuous improvement of student engagement and frontline service functions across Student Communications, AskUON, Student Events and Student Representation.
I also worked as the business representative with our IT Services division on a number of strategic IT projects aimed at enhancing the student experience and transforming ways in which we work.
I hold a degree in Social Science (Recreation and Tourism) and a Masters in Business Administration. I am a strong customer service provider, and have extensive experience in administration and services management, training and communication, system analysis and development, change management, and project management and delivery.
