As the HR Cloud Services Supervisor at the State of Montana I have extensive experience with implementing and maintaining several different Oracle HCM products. After working for several years as a PeopleSoft HR analyst, I began the adventure of assisting in the implementation of Oracle Talent Acquisition Cloud (Taleo/OTAC), including 5 integrations with PeopleSoft HR. With the successful implementation of OTAC under my belt I became the supervisor of the State of Montana HR Cloud Services team. My team has gone on to implement additional Oracle cloud products while keeping PeopleSoft as our core for HR system. In 2016 my team and I implemented Oracle HCM Talent Management Cloud in order to provide more robust performance management and goal setting processes for the State of Montana. This implementation required a significant and challenging integration with PeopleSoft HR. In 2018 my team implemented the Oracle HCM Cloud Learning module to fill the needs of an enterprise wide LMS solution. As we continue to run multiple cloud products and maintain integrations with PeopleSoft we plan to continue to enhance our integrations with PeopleSoft and evolve our cloud footprint. I believe there is a significant need for collaboration between public sector entities who are adopting cloud products. Many of these entities continue to run PeopleSoft as their core HR. It has been our experience that many public sector entities are moving to a cloud or currently making decisions to prepare to adopt a full cloud or hybrid structure. As this migration continues, the need for cloud product discussions and collaboration will increase. I would love to join the PSUG board to help bring a balance of on-premise and cloud experience to conversations and help drive the PSUG participation.
