Angelina is an innovative Customer Service Professional who joined the University of California via the Riverside campus, and was later recruited to the UCPath Center to help lead the U.C.’s priority initiative of implementing a single payroll, benefits, human resources, and academic personnel solution for the UC’s 220,000 employees. As one of the original 12 Trailblazers of UCPath, she has contributed to the onboarding of each UC location, and continues to partner with key stakeholders on process improvement and redesign efforts.
In her role as Director of Employee Services, Angelina is responsible for leading the development of employee service processes, practices, staff, and tools for UCPath. As a service expert, she presented on the UCPath and PeopleSoft HCM integration to the Higher Education User Group (HEUG). Prior to joining the University of California, Angelina spent more than 25 years working and leading in a Shared Service environment for global organizations including Nestle Waters, USA, and Avery Dennison, North America.
Angelina received her Doctorate in Educational Leadership from California State University, San Bernardino. Her research seeks to reduce the under-representation of female Administrators in Higher Education and has been published in peer-reviewed journals of Higher Education for use in global educational leadership preparation efforts.
