AI has been around longer than some of us are aware. The AI landscape has exploded with large language models like ChatGPT or Bing Copilot, yet these generative AI tools are not as smart as we'd like them or expect them to be. How can we train them to become stronger and more effective assistants? How can data professionals use AI tools and techniques and apply them to their work? This session will be an overview of AI for analysis. It will briefly touch upon a couple of the LLMs and GPTs used to generate text outputs, offer data analytics use cases, list some common pitfalls, illustrate how to access ChatGPT and Bing Copilot, demonstrate writing effective prompts, and how to use Copilot for MS Excel.
