Remedy for Alliance withdrawal symptoms

I suffer every year and am sure I can't be alone - the post-Alliance slump!  That time about a month after Alliance when the energy and enthusiasm generated through the learning, teaching and sharing activities of Alliance starts to evaporate?

How can we maintain that energy and passion for all things Oracle/Peoplesoft-related as we work in our institutions to develop the new solutions we learned about (or to convince our managers to resource them!)?  And how can we share our excitement with colleagues who were not able to attend?

The tried and tested way is to use the HEUG.online resources regularly - the Alliance presentations are a great resource to keep refering back to; and the forums are a great place to ask any questions arising from them; but then there are also the blogs...

Over the next 12 months I'll be encouraging our EMEA members to keep sharing and keep educating each other about the great work that we are doing in our institutions.  At Alliance '13 so many of you had exciting stories about current or planned projects and developments that you either presented on or just talked about - let's use the great HEUG.online tools to keep these conversations going.  Let's hear about use of new functionality or technical tools, successful go lives or project/change management tips and tricks.

Please get in touch if you have an idea for a blog (or even a webinar!) - even if this is an idea for someone else to write a blog :-)

Our first story is a great one of collaboration (between institutions and vendors), new functionality (PEME) and cloud solutions.  Check out the blog post here: http://www.heug.org/p/bl/bl/blogid=55.  This is a really interesting project that I'm sure we will want to hear more about...
