Call for Presentations

This conference has developed a reputation for the breadth and quality of presentations offered, and this year will be no different. Now is your chance to submit your proposals and ideas for sessions and to secure your place at the Conference.

We do not only want formal presentations – if you would like to lead a workshop or chair a panel discussion on a topic of interest to you then feel free to submit this as a proposal.

We would like sessions that showcase your innovative work - sharing experiences, lessons learned, future plans, new tools, new ideas and new approaches.

In order to give us chance to put together the best possible programme we need all submissions by September 25 so please start thinking of your ideas now.

Remember, you don’t need your full session completed yet, we just need your session title and an outline of the content. It’s also important that we know who will be presenting the submission as proposals will be assessed on the combination of topic and presenter – if either of these change we may not be able to proceed with the session.

Also be aware that the primary speaker for every full session proposal accepted will receive a free registration to the HEUG EMEA 2015 conference! (Mini-session presenters are eligible for a half-price registration)

Please click here to submit your proposals in one of the following tracks:

Students
We’re looking for ideas for presentations or sessions around all aspects of Campus   Solutions – what have you done that you would like to share with the Community? We would particularly welcome sessions on how you have used ‘new’ features such as Program Enrolment, Activity Management, File Parser, Research Tracking, Graduation Tracking, Evaluation Management, Notification Framework. Have you any experiences or ideas you wish to share about how you are planning to take your system on that next step forward? What would you like to discuss with the wider community? Suggest a discussion group that you may like to lead.

Technical
Following on from a number of very valuable and well received technical presentations over past conferences, we continue to expand the technical track this year. We would welcome your ideas on sessions covering any area of PeopleSoft or Oracle tools. These can include Security, User Experience, to encompass the new Fluid user interface, and PeopleTools for which we’re particularly interested in your experiences with Life Cycle Management tools. We would also welcome input on successes you have had over the last year with the new tools Oracle are making available, examples here would be PeopleTools Activity Guides and Work Centers.  As discussion in the community increasingly focuses on cloud solutions we’d also welcome sharing of your strategies and plans in this space.

Finance/E-business Suite
If you use E-Business Suite we want to hear from you and what you're doing now that you've more than likely made that leap to 12.x. Are you looking at, or have you implemented, additional modules such as iExpenses or iSupplier? Are you looking at complementary products to your E-Business Suite implementation to lever greater process improvements? What is your plan going forward, do you consider Oracle’s cloud offering? Your sessions can be presentation case studies, tips and tricks that you've found or even if you'd like to help run a panel discussion on a particular topic then we'd like to know.

General
Do you have a session which doesn’t fall neatly into one of the above tracks? This could include reporting, training, end user support, project management, or anything of general interest. What type of usability enhancements have you made? How have you and your users experienced upgrades? We’d like to see sessions about how you have improved the user experience of the system in your institution and we would like to hear about the positives and challenges at your institution.

Hope to see you in Rotterdam, the Netherlands 17-18 November 2015.

Until then watch out for the call for papers being released in June. Don't forget to follow us on twitter @HEUG_EMEA and click here to join our event on Facebook.
