EMEA Alliance 2016 - Your Last Chance! Call for Proposals Closes in 3 Days!

Your Last Chance! Call for Proposals Closes in 3 Days!

Don't miss your chance to present at EMEA Alliance 2016! Now is your chance to submit your proposals and ideas for sessions and to secure your place at the Conference.

We do not only want formal presentations – if you would like to lead a workshop or chair a panel discussion on a topic of interest to you then feel free to submit this as a proposal. In addition to regular sessions (which are an hour long) we are also accepting submissions for mini-sessions of 30 minutes. If you want to submit a mini-session, or think that your session could be adapted to fit a mini-session slot, please indicate this on your submission.

We would like sessions that showcase your innovative work - sharing experiences, lessons learned, future plans, new tools, new ideas and new approaches. In order to give us chance to put together the best possible programme we need all submissions by 15 July so please start thinking of your ideas now.

Remember, you don’t need your full session completed yet, we just need your session title and an outline of the content. It’s also important that we know who will be presenting the submission as proposals will be assessed on the combination of topic and presenter – if either of these change we may not be able to proceed with the session.

Also be aware that the primary speaker for every full session proposal accepted will receive a free registration to EMEA Alliance 2016! (Mini-session presenters are eligible for a half-price registration).

Institutions are looking for creative ways in which prospects, applicants and students can be engaged positively with the institution from as early a stage as possible.  We are looking for any session ideas which support the student journey either using any Oracle CX product (PS CRM, Eloqua, Service Cloud) or perhaps any innovative methods by which you have used Campus Solutions itself.  Ideas could be around prospect conversion, applicant engagement or case management for existing students.  We are also interested in the policy, process and governance challenges you have encountered (and overcome) during your implementation journeys. This new track aims to allow you to showcase your ideas to the rest of EMEA and demonstrate how CRM activities can benefit the student experience.

Do you have a session which doesn’t fall neatly into one of the above tracks? This could include reporting, training, end user support, project management, or anything of general interest. What type of usability enhancements have you made? How have you and your users experienced upgrades? We’d like to see sessions about how you have improved the user experience of the system in your institution and we would like to hear about the positives and challenges at your institution.

We’re looking for ideas for presentations or sessions around all aspects of Campus   Solutions – what have you done that you would like to share with the Community? We would particularly welcome sessions on how you have used ‘new’ features such as Program Enrollment, Activity Management, File Parser, Research Tracking, Graduation Tracking, Evaluation Management, Notification Framework. Have you any experiences or ideas you wish to share about how you are planning to take your system on that next step forward? What would you like to discuss with the wider community? Suggest a discussion group that you may like to lead.

Following on from a number of very valuable and well received technical presentations over past conferences, we continue to expand the technical track this year. We would welcome your ideas on sessions covering any area of PeopleSoft or Oracle tools. These can include Security, User Experience, to encompass the new Fluid user interface, and PeopleTools for which we’re particularly interested in your experiences with Life Cycle Management tools. We would also welcome input on successes you have had over the last year with the new tools Oracle are making available, examples here would be PeopleTools Activity Guides and Work Centers.  As discussion in the community increasingly focuses on cloud solutions we’d also welcome sharing of your strategies and plans in this space.

Hope to see you in Glasgow, Scotland 11-12 October 2016 and don't forget to follow us on twitter @HEUG_EMEA!
