A number of workshops will be offered on Monday, November 4 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM and 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM prior to the main conference. Registration for these requires an additional fee of $30 per workshop.  A light breakfast and boxed lunch will be included. Workshop must be paid by 18 October to guarantee a boxed lunch.  All workshop payments must be paid no later than 18 October or registration is subject to cancellation. Each workshop has a minimum participation level; and if this is not met by 27 September, then the workshop may be canceled and monies paid refunded.

This workshop demonstrates tricks and techniques that may be helpful when you are programming the "unusual" in your AAR. Techniques covered include programming a financial aid requirement to determine if a student is registered in classes that count towards a degree, invisible "hover-overs" that give information that cannot be seen unless you know where to hover, the differences between partitions and detail lines, how to insert a blank into a required field...a space bar will not do it, using links in the AAR to outside web sources, create a "go-around" when a course is falling into an earlier requirement than desired, using AARs to indicate proper course placement, and several other tricks that might be of interest.

In this session, you will learn the fastest way to convert a Classic page to Fluid as well as how to effectively handle layout issues.
