I have worked on the PeopleSoft Student Financials system since 1999. My experience includes troubleshooting and problem resolution. I have worked with many other modules across campus including Payroll, Admissions, Campus Community, Financial Aid, Student Records, and Finance. I have worked effectively with both individuals and cross-functional teams using excellent written and verbal communication skills. My experience also includes 14 years at a community college working on cross-division projects.
I was a lead on the Student Financials upgrade to v8 and to v9. I have led the implementation of multiple self-service enhancements including direct deposit and 1098T tax statements. In 2004 I was the lead on moving from AP to Payroll student refunding and also led the credit card and e-check refunding projects. In 2007 I led the Student Financials Beta testing of Version 9 at Boise State University. I am a frequent contributor to the HEUG SF listserv and have received requests to help other schools as a Subject Matter Expert. In 2011-2013 I was one of two Student System Functional Directors for the CS "refresh" project during which time Boise State reduced CS customizations by 60% and completed the split with HCM. And I was selected to be on the Student Financials Product Advisory Group beginning in 2013. I have presented at two Alliance conferences--in 2010 and in 2013; I also have presented two webinars for the HEUG community at large.
In 2013 I became a part of a newly formed department at Boise State University called Systems and Process Improvement. My team supports the Student Financials, Payroll, and Finance systems.
In 2015 Boise State University began implementation of the Oracle Financials Cloud. I have been the lead for Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, and the Campus Solutions integrations. We anticipate a go-live of July 1, 2016.
Beginning in 2016 I became the Director of the Production Support & Maintenance Team for the Office of Continuous Improvement; we support the Oracle Financials Cloud, Student Financials, and Payroll systems for the university.
And finally, in 2019, I became the Director of On-Premise Systems for the Office of Continuous Improvement and focus on Student Financials and the PeopleSoft application, as well as integrations with other systems.
