I have been a business analyst for Campus Community and Student Records at the University of Minnesota since 2011. I am involved with numerous areas of CC including shared data, identity management, the HCM/CS split, preferred name display, Delegated Access, and duplicate ID management. I also support Student Records functionality such as electronic transcript, program/plan, term activation, FERPA, faculty/advisor/student self-service, and reporting. I worked on a wide range of tasks (requirements, fit/gaps, testing, and customizations) for our upgrade to CS 9.0 and HCM 9.2, which went live in the spring of 2015. We have also recently completed our upgrade to CS 9.2 for which I had a similar role. Prior to 2011 I have an additional 8 years of experience working with Campus Solutions in both functional and project management capacities, including work on course catalog, degree audit, graduation processing, and other areas of both CS and related higher education systems.
I was a member of the Campus Community Product Advisory Group from 2014-2017, and was the Track Chair for Alliance 2016. Areas of focus for my work on the PAG include preferred name/gender identity, delegated access, shared data, and duplicate ID management. I am currently a member of the Gender Identity working group.
My educational experience includes an M.S. in IT Project Management from Capella University (2011), an M.A. in English from Syracuse University (1998), and a B.A. in English from the University of Wisconsin - Madison (1991).
