What is Global Payroll and Absence Management?
Absence Management is an Oracle PeopleSoft product module that enables absence processing and allows the owner to configure rules based on the company policy or processes for leave entitlement and take processing. Absence Management contains no application-specific rules or code, which makes using the module a more complex, but comprehensive, configurable architecture that helps the user design to their primary or specific needs (and there is no one way required to get to the result!). Elements are used throughout the module to assist in building rules. The elements determine what absence components are calculated per payee (employee) during batch processing and calculations.
Global Payroll and Absence Management includes:
· Element-based rule building
· Absence request functionality
· Entitlement (leave accruals) processing
· Take processing
· Absence data conversion to Payroll
· Module integrations with HR, Time and Labor, Payroll for North America, and Payroll Interfaces
Global Payroll and Absence Management for business needs:
Absence Management can institute an electronic version of managing the organization’s Leave Management business practices, policies, and rules from organizational procedures, including, but not limited to:
· Absence request self-services for Employee, Manager, and Administrator
· Schedules
