Admissions PAG Priorities

By Debbie Littlefield posted 11-04-2011 11:03 AM

Since the students on our campuses are just finishing mid-terms and finding out how well they are doing this semester, I thought this would be a good time to do a status check on your Admissions PAG by sharing our priorities for this year.  We live in a dynamic world and as professionals in higher ed, part of our job is to be aware of trends, predict the future, and ensure that the resources we provide for students are in step with the times and preparing our graduates for timely careers in a changing society.

This is usually where I refer you to a really, cool and mind-blowing YouTube video from the “Shift Happens” family, but as a true testament to the changing times…while a few short years ago I could easily find for you the official, annually updated “Shift Happens” and point you in that direction, now when I Google it there are 8,890 results to choose from—various authors/sources, career and country specific, etc…  So if you want a reminder of just how quickly the world is changing—Google “Shift Happens” and take your pick.

Then take a minute to review our Admissions PAG priorities for this year and let us know if you think we are on target with our changing times.
