Season’s Greetings!  Hope you enjoyed our holiday story “’Twas the December Before Alliance”.  We thought you would enjoy meeting the PAG cast featured in that Holiday Classic.  In order of appearance…

Ryan Chreist,  University of Colorado; Track Chair

Favorite Holiday songs:  My 4 favorite non-traditional holiday songs are all so good, I just couldn’t pick one.  In random order they are:

“Trans-Siberian Orchestra  - Christmas Eve Sarajevo”,

“Christmas – Please come home”  by various artists but the original by Darlene Love is probably the best (although the U2 version is really, really good);

“Chanukah Song” – by Adam Sandler; and

“Christmas Wrapping” by The Waitresses.

Stephanie Dean, Madison Area Technical College; Asst. Track Chair

Favorite Holiday Song:  “Frosty the Snowman”

Favorite Holiday Movie: The Polar Express

Favorite Holiday Story: “The Night Before Christmas”

James Brown, University of Glasgow; Issue Tracker

Favorite Holiday movies:  Come to the Stable and The Bishop’s Wife (not the remake with Whitney Houston--You have to do the 1947 one with Loretta Young and Cary Grant!

Mark Nelson, University of Michigan; Chair

Favorite Holiday song: “Do You Hear What I Hear”

Debbie Littlefield, Marquette University; Communication Rep

Favorite Holiday movie: Scrooged (starring Bill Murray)

Favorite Holiday story:  “’Twas the December Before Alliance”

Joe Manning, James Madison University; Training Coordinator

Favorite Holiday Song:  “Baby It’s Cold Outside”

Favorite Holiday Story:  “A Christmas Carol”

Jason Masciantoni, University of Arizona; Survey Guy

Favorite Holiday Movie: Scrooged

Favorite Holiday Song:   "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" by anyone, and if I've had too much eggnog it becomes "Do They Know It's Christmas?" probably covered by the band PULP so it's a little more punk rock.

Jason McIntyre, Australian National University, Librarian

Favorite Holiday song: “The Little Drummer Boy” (and many others too numerous to list!)

Darlene Daclan, Cal State University, Listserv Monitor

Favorite Holiday Song: “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas”

Favorite Holiday Movie: Home Alone or Elf or White Christmas

Favorite Holiday Story: “A Christmas Carol”

Crystal Garvey, Northern Illinois University; Elf in Training

Favorite Holiday song:  “White Christmas” by Bing Crosby for a traditional flavor, but for a little more of a doo-wop feel I like Clyde McPhatter & the Drifters version.  I also love “The 12 days of Christmas” by Straight No Chaser.

Favorite Holiday Movie:  White Christmas and Christmas Vacation

Favorite Holiday Story:  Not so much a story, but I LOOOOVE Christmas!  It brings out my inner Martha Stewart.  I go nuts decorating, baking, cooking, and making all of my Christmas cards by hand.  I love everything about the season family, traditions, Christmas music, warm fires, hot chocolate, the smell of fresh cut pine, snow, the lights, the decorations, the man in his red suit...I just love it all.

And finally, a few Holiday treats from the Admissions PAG…
