We've got a lot to share about the Oracle Applications User Experience! If you're interested in reading about where emerging technology might be taking the user experience of software applications, check out our new post on smart user experiences. We're also including some bits about Oracle's Cloud platforms, a partner workshop where we helped to build a banking solution, and the latest user experience post from OracleVoice on Forbes.com.

SMART USER EXPERIENCES: Bill Kraus, OAUX Communications & Outreach team, kicks off a new blog post series on smart user experiences on the Voice of User Experience (VoX) blog. Read more to understand how the OAUX team has been exploring ways to leverage machine intelligence as part of our “Glance, Scan, Commit” design philosophy.

PAAS IMPRESSIONS: Sten Vesterli — ACE Director, Oracle partner, and friend of the OAUX team — cameos in this recent article on Profit Online. He discusses Oracle’s Cloud platforms, which he predicts will become increasingly important as more companies that have embraced software as a service (SaaS) look to add unique elements that give their companies an advantage.

PARTNER WORKSHOP: In this new post on the UsableApps blog, Ultan O’Broin writes about an event with Profource that focused on building a Banking Cloud (ERP) solution using the UX Cloud RDK. This a great story about a FinTech solution, Ultan says, and it's our first hands-on event using the Release 10 Cloud UX RDK. Pam Koertshuis, a Profouce consultant, also writes about building the Banking Cloud solution with OAUX in this post.

SALES CLOUD UX HIGHLIGHTS ON FORBES.COM: Mobility is exactly where we’re focusing our cloud sales application design efforts today, says Jeremy Ashley, Oracle Applications User Experience (OAUX) Group Vice President. Read more about how we’re designing a user experience that encourages participation in the Oracle Sales Cloud application on the OracleVoice blog.
