Session Title: Credit History and Collections Processes: Use Delivered and Automate Everything!

Combining the delivered credit history process with a valuable bolt-on tool, California State University San Marcos has automated several processes that support past-due student accounts which has improved both staff efficiency and service-level to our students. Processes that are automated and support the overall process include: placement/removal of holds, posting of late fees, communications, and accommodating financial aid adjustments. The improved processes have eliminated gaps, saved several hours of manual work per week, and increased our level of engagement with students.
