Session Title: The Missouri Land Grant Compact – Student Financials approach

In 2017, the University of Missouri-Columbia announced an initiative to cover all tuition and fees for Pell-eligible undergraduates. This kicked off a year-long effort, coordinated between the Student Financials and Financial Aid offices, to implement the award in Fall 2018. Student Financials used a stand-alone Equation and Group Post to calculate the award amount and apply it as a waiver. In this presentation, we will describe our process, obstacles, and the use of delivered functionality to overcome limitations imposed by existing setup.
