No CRM system is complete without some method of sending communications out to the end user. Today I’m highlighting the topic of email, from provisioning an entire student email system for students, to making it easy to collect data by offering a single click email solution, to creating and automating an email workflow easily and without programming. So here we go:

How do we make our email process easier and more efficient? This University of Wisconsin presentation demonstrates the different types of Salesforce flows for creating an email automation and when these flows are used.   Taking advantage of delivered functionality with Salesforce delivered flows, programming experience is not required - no-code email automation using customized templates is both possible and easy to do.

Session 8854: “Proactive student outreach and retention via timely 1-click email surveys”

The high cost of an education, coupled with a decreasing population of eligible students in the United States has forced many colleges and universities to develop retention strategies that identify and provide support for at-risk students.  A single-click survey strategy used at DePaul University proactively targets and reaches students in need of support and allows university staff to turn survey results into actionable outreach. It can be a simple and effective method of getting the pulse of students.
