The intent of this article is to showcase Campus Community features and functionality released on April 30th 2019 in the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions 9.2 PUM image 13.
Article:
The thirteenth PUM image of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions 9.2 is currently available for download and contains some new features/functionality for Campus Community including new functionality across Applications.
In PUM image 13, Oracle has delivered the following functionality for the Campus Community Module:
1. Delegated Access Enhancement -
Updated the Delegated Access process to require the proxy to log out and then log in again to access the Shared Information Center.
2. Common Attribute Framework Enhancement -
Enabled the Common Attribute Framework (CAF) for the following Student Degrees records for reporting purposes:
- Student Degree Table (ACAD_DEGR)
- Student Degree Plan Table (ACAD_DEGR_PLAN)
- Student Degree Sub-Plan Table (ACAD_DEGR_SPLN)
Enabled the CAF for the following Terms, Sessions, and Calendars records for reporting purposes:
- Term Table (TERM_TBL)
- Session Table (SESSION_TBL)
- Academic Calendar Table (ACAD_CAL_TABLE)
- Calendar Term Table (ACAD_CALTRM_TBL)
- Calendar Session Table (ACAD_CALSES_TBL)
In PUM image 13, Oracle has delivered the following functionality across applications:
1. Integration to Oracle Student Financial Planning Cloud Service -
Oracle Student Financial Planning (SFP) provides a leading student-centric, cloud-based financial aid solution for higher education institutions. SFP works with thousands of financial aid sources to optimize funding for any type of higher education learning model. The SFP solution helps students identify eligibility and obtain financing so they can achieve their academic goals.
Campus Solutions customers can opt to integrate with the Oracle Student Financial Planning Cloud Service (SFP) as an alternative to using Campus Solutions Financial Aid. Phase 1 of the CS/SFP Integration was introduced in Update Image 11 and Phase 2 was introduced in Update Image 12.
Updates for Image 13 include:
- Added a Title 4 Data Needed inbound message option. This option receives a message indicating that a R2T4 calculation is being made and requires data from Campus Solutions to be sent to use for this calculation. This message is sent if the SAFI is not created with the correct Return to Title IV elements. These messages are logged with Message Class of T4DN.
- Added an Unsupported inbound message option. This option receives a message Unsupported – Sends additional messages that do not presently automatically trigger CS system processes. These messages are logged with Message Class of UNSP.
- Added the SFP Terms for Projections page (Campus Community > Student Fin Planning Interface > SFP Terms for Projections). Use this page to define Terms used for projecting enrollment data.
- Added SFP Message Log page (Campus Community > Student Fin Planning Interface > SFP Message Log). Use this page to review a log of all incoming and outgoing SFP messages.
- Added Borrower Based Academic Year (BBAY) attributes to the Academic Program SFP Attributes page (Set Up SACR > Foundation Tables > Academic Structure >Academic Program Table >SFP Attributes).

CS 9.2 PUM Update Image 13 is now available on the PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) Home Page (MOS Doc ID 1641843.2) by selecting the Update Image Home Pages tab, choosing Campus Solutions Update Image Home Page and expanding the section CS Update Image Link.
