Lidia Anderson Central Washington University Chair
Hi! I’m Lidia Anderson with Central Washington University in Ellensburg WA. I’ve been with CWU since 2012 and started as a Student Records Functional Analyst. Over time, I’ve taken on additional responsibilities including learning and supporting Academic Advising, managing projects and development work. These responsibilities have changed my job and my title has evolved into IT Web Application Development. Growing and learning are the core of who I am. Working at CWU and serving on internal and external committees only adds to my experience and knowledge and desire for continued growth. I thoroughly enjoy my job and service opportunities. There is so much to learn everyday. This drives me to grow, become a better person and an experienced leader. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our youngest daughter who is currently six. As well as spending time with our adult children and grandchildren.

Rachael Daniel University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Vice Chair
Hello SR Community, my name is Rachael Daniel, and I'll be serving as the Vice Chair of the SR Advisory Group this year. During the day, I'm the Assistant Director of Functional Services at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. I've been with UWM for just over 16 years, spending the first 8 as an Advisor in the Lubar School of Business before moving on to the functional development side. My employment outside of UWM was in Human Resources, always working in PeopleSoft, so I feel like PeopleSoft is in my blood! I'm starting my second 3 year term on the SR AG, and I really look forward to playing an active role in this fantastic users group. In my free time I like to… wait, what free time? I’ve got 3 kids, 2 cats, a husband, and a few friends that stick around even though you don’t get to see them as much as you’d like. I run before dawn because the time works, enjoy reading books once or twice a year, and get outside rarely for hiking and (it's Wisconsin, so snow...) snowboarding. In all seriousness, I love the chaos and wouldn’t trade it for the world, but my husband and I have plans for that free time that comes when you’re an empty nester…

Denise Kelly Queen's University Belfast Assistant Track Chair
I have worked at Queen's University Belfast (Northern Ireland) for almost 25 years. I would suggest long periods of service are not terribly unusual in the working world of higher education. It is certainly a unique environment where collaboration plays a key role in our daily activities. This is also evident in my role as chair of the UK Student Records User Group at which seven institutions across the United Kingdom meet quarterly to exchange practice, help and assist our counterparts and generally collaborate - just like the community we are across the worldwide Higher Education User Group. At Queen’s I am a Functional Development Lead, which provides me with the ideal position of working closely with the operational business side of the university, while establishing how we can develop process improvement initiatives within Campus Solutions. Times have certainly changed over the past 25 years in higher education and I refer to my colleagues within schools as my key stakeholders, with project planning and project lifecycle initiatives now being wrapped around any development that is undertaken to Qsis (Queen’s Student Information System). A far cry from quick fixes and ad hoc approaches that left most institutions with a highly customised student information system that was difficult to maintain and update! I do enjoy this new way of working, I like to think I don’t work any harder just a lot smarter. While it is fair to say Queen’s can consume vast amounts of my energy, for my downtime activities I thoroughly enjoy anything social, another reason why being involved in the HEUG as well as the Advisory Group works so well for me, Alliance is pivotal in my social calendar!

Rhea Leydig The Pennsylvania State University PET Coordinator
Hello! I’ll be your Product Enhancement Tracker--so I want to hear your ideas on what enhancements to encourage! I’m a business analyst at Penn State University, working mostly within the areas of student records, transfer credit & academic advising. I was a part of our implementation team that moved from a 30-year old home-grown system to PeopleSoft as one Institution. Penn State continues to work toward leveraging delivered functionality to its full potential, although working with developers to create modifications and bolt-ons is a big part of what I do.
Prior to working directly with Campus Solutions, I was an academic advisor, causing everything I do to be framed by what is in the best interests of students and their success. I love traveling, reading, the beach (really, anywhere with water) and am completely appreciating my treadmill that allows me to “hike” in all parts of the world during a time when we cannot leave the house. Highly recommended.
