This summer, HEUG is trying something brand new—and I have to say, I’m genuinely excited about it.
For the first time ever, we’re launching a virtual Summer Series packed with the kind of conference-quality content we all know and love. And the best part? Whether you’re tuning in from your office, your home, or even a sunny vacation spot, you’ll still have access to meaningful, high-impact learning that’s relevant to your role and your campus.
The HEUG Summer Series runs every Wednesday from July 16 to September 3, and it’s designed to help you take a breather from your everyday tasks and dive into strategic professional development that makes a difference.
Why I Think This Series Is Worth Your Time
I get it—summer is busy. Between vacations, projects, and trying to enjoy a little downtime, adding one more thing to your calendar might feel overwhelming. But that’s exactly why I’m so impressed with how this series was designed. It’s thoughtful, focused, and totally manageable.
Here’s what makes it stand out:
✅ Focused Learning, One Day at a Time
Each Wednesday zeroes in on a single topic area—like HCMS, PCM, GT eForms, and more—so you can really dive in without distractions. I love that I don’t have to spread sessions across the week or feel like I’m missing something important. It’s one day, one focus, and a ton of value.
✅ Real Insights from Real People
These sessions are led by presenters who truly get it—because they’ve been where we are. They’re sharing practical insights, not just high-level theory. I always appreciate hearing how others have navigated similar challenges, and I know I’ll walk away with ideas I can actually use.
✅ Birds of a Feather = Gold
Now, this is what I’m personally looking forward to the most. The “Birds of a Feather” breakout discussions are some of my favorite parts of any HEUG event. They’re casual, they’re collaborative, and every single time I’ve attended one, I’ve come away with a tip, trick, or perspective I hadn’t considered before. There’s something powerful about just talking shop with people who get it.
So, if you’re feeling ready to reboot your thinking, refocus your energy, and reimagine how you show up in your role, I really hope you’ll join us.
We’ll be gathering around the virtual campfire starting July 16, and I’d love to see some familiar faces there. Let’s make this summer one to learn, connect, and grow—together.
