PUM Image 11 - Highlights of CC Functionality

The intent of this article is to showcase Campus Community features and functionality released on November 2nd 2018 in the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions 9.2 PUM image 11.
Article:
The eleventh PUM image of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions 9.2 is currently available for download. PUM 11 did not contain any new features/functionality specific to Campus Community, however, there was some generic/shared functionality delivered, including: Population Update performance improvements, data privacy enhancements, and integrations to the Oracle Student Financial Planning Cloud Service.
In PUM image 11, Oracle has delivered the following cross-application functionality:
1. Population Update Performance Improvements -
After PUM Image 8, customers observed that performance when using Population Update declined in some scenarios. A work around was given and now updates to the system have been delivered to correct the performance issue.
2. Data Privacy Enhancements -
Campus Solutions delivers data elements that are considered as information that is personally identifiable, sensitive, or both. Together with this information, CS also delivers the component or page references where these data appear.

3. Integration to Oracle Student Financial Planning Cloud Service -
Oracle Student Financial Planning (SFP) provides a leading student-centric, cloud-based financial aid solution for higher education institutions. SFP works with thousands of financial aid sources to optimize funding for any type of higher education learning model. The SFP solution helps students identify eligibility and obtain financing so they can achieve their academic goals. In the future, Borrower Based Academic Year features will be available.
Campus Solutions customers can opt to integrate with the Oracle Student Financial Planning Cloud Service (SFP) as an alternative to using Campus Solutions Financial Aid.

The CS 9.2 Upgrade for PeopleTools 8.55 is available via My Oracle Support, PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Upgrade Home Page (Doc ID 2078564.2). This MOS site contains documentation and an important video for performing the CS 9.2/PT 8.55 upgrade.
