PUM Image 3 - Highlights of CC Functionality

The intent of this article is to showcase Campus Community features and functionality released on November 1st 2016 in the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions 9.2 PUM image 3.
Article:
The third PUM image of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions 9.2 is currently available for download and contains some cool new features including an Enterprise Component Approval Framework and fluid Approvals page. Additionally, for Campus Community, there are new fluid Campus Community Profile Updates and My Preferences pages.
In PUM image 3, Oracle has delivered new fluid functionality to allow users to configure the dynamic display of the User ID on the delivered Profile tile. They have also delivered a fluid interface that allows access to the Campus Preferences page where users can define default values that assist user navigation, reduce repetitive data entry, and streamline the completion of transactions. In addition to the new Campus Community Fluid pages, Oracle has delivered a new Approval Framework that allows for approvals at any stage of an Activity Guide to be visible to the user and provides a new cancel action that allows a user to update an approval transaction that is pending or has been approved. In addition to this new framework, there is also a new fluid Approvals page that consolidates all pending approvals to a single view.
Please note that for the PeopleSoft Fluid User Interface to be fully operable, you need to be on PeopleTools version 8.55. Additionally, Oracle plans to deliver the Fluid user experience for high-value, role-based users on an ongoing basis with People Soft/Campus Solutions Update Images, for selection and implementation with the PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM).

This MOS site contains documentation and an important video for performing the CS 9.2/PT 8.55 upgrade.
