Hi Kevin,
On our upgrade project to V9.0, we extracted the data from V7.6 and
loaded the data into Manage PI by Calendar in Global Payroll so we could
conduct parallel pay runs. I don't know if this is of any use, but if
so let me know and I will contact our Technical guys to find out what
was used to load the data into Global Payroll.

A Question from Kevin Spletter at Griffith Uni on Casual Timesheet
Entry. We are running PeopleSoft HE version 9.0 for payroll.
We have had a project to try and implement the delivered Casual
Timesheet solution. This has run into a dead end as we can not set up
the approval process to suite the Universities requirements.
So, we thought we would investigate if was possible to build a process
to do the entry and approval part and then load to the payroll. This is
proving difficult as we can not find any delivered application where we
could load this data into the payroll. ie. any services or component
interfaces we could use to load the approved timesheets. We do not want
to have to reverse engineer a delivered process like timesheet entry to
achieve the result. So, the questions are
1. Is there an entry point where timesheets could be loaded ??
2. Has anybody built or know of a solution to perform this task outside
of the delivered functionality ??
Any Ideas folks !!!!
