For the first time the Higher Education User Group (HEUG) has organized a special HEUG EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) event in collaboration with the Dutch Education User Group (DEUG) conference. This event will include EMEA community meetings, pre conference workshops, and an Executive Forum. The event will be held on November 3rd in the Netherlands at Hogeschool INHolland in Diemen. Attendance is free for DEUG members and international HEUG members. See details on the conference site here.
Since moving to a new business model that includes membership fees, HEUG has been able to support a broader set of member services, including regional events like this one in the Netherlands. This will be an opportunity for colleagues from member institutions across the EMEA region to exchange valuable ideas and expertise in a setting supported by the entire HEUG community. I am looking forward to this event and others like it happening soon.
