Reported at the Collaborate conference in Orlando, Principal Financial was the first customer to go live with a Fusion application, opting to supplement their PeopleSoft HCM footprint. Of note, this is running completely hosted by Oracle along side of their internally hosted PeopleSoft HCM and Financials footprint. They are also implementing Talent Management and Sourcing Fusion applications. The important message here is that higher educations first Fusion endeavors may likely be Fusion apps that co-exist with their existing PeopleSoft or Ebiz applications.
