The Higher Education User Group announces that our friend and colleague, Kari Branjord will be leaving the University of Colorado to pursue a new and exciting endeavor in the private sector. As a result, she resigned as HEUG President effective December 23, 2010. The entire HEUG community wishes her the best of luck.

HEUG bylaws state that the HEUG Executive Vice President is to replace the President in the event of a vacancy. Ted Simpson (MICA), will now step in as Acting President and will finish the remainder of Kari's term, which continues until the Alliance conference in March 2011. We will hold a special election the week of January 3 to elect a president for 2011-12 and will announce the results on HEUG.Online that week.
