The HRMS PAG continues its work toward the 2010 goals:

1.  Advocate for Higher Ed member needs by input to Oracle about the PeopleSoft HCM Product
     Actions taken:

Oracle's PeopleSoft Vice President for HCM Strategy has attended and actively contributed to monthly PAG
                   meetings.
One HEUG and one EBS institution serving as pilots for Oracle's Upgrade Advisor product.
Met with oracle representative on bundle documentation.  members ecpressed concern about the lack of
documentation for patches (which objects/types of objects are affected by the patch).  The Oracle
representative agreed to get back to the group with responses to the concerns raised.
A PAG member attended Oracle OpenWorld and will share highlights with the PAG.

2. Participate in Oracle/HEUG workgroups

Held Oracle demo for joint HRMS/Budget PAG members about the annual salary/position budget process.
Despite information shared, members continue to stuggle with the use of the product for this function.
PAG members are working Oracle on preparing an Alliance presentation on this topic.
Provided feedback to the communications group about icon design for the new and improved HEUG website.
Began work on the 2011 Alliance Conference.  Solicited presentations from members.  60 have been submitted
               for considersation.

3.  Continue interaction with other HR user groups such as the Oracle HCM Users Group (OHUG) and the Public Sector Users Group
     (PSUG).

PSUG continues to invite HEUG HRMS members to their monthly webinars.

4.  Enhance Communication with HEUG HRMS members.

Notified HRMS members of PeopleSoft IPEDS updates
Listserv remains active, with Monitor ensuring responses are received to questions.  If not, she follows up and
               solicits responses.
Next newsletter is in planning, and will go out late October/early November.
PAG members attended the Illinois user group conference - focus was on the CS/HR split.
